Blossom

Good morning fellow crafters and followers.  Gosh the weather is awful again here in rainy west midlands.  Still, good excuse for crafting!
I made this card yesterday and to be honest I had decided to do a little playing with my Serif Craft Artist Professional.
I stamped my image which is the gorgeous Blossom from the Moreheads new stamp collection - a little sweetie isn't she?  I coloured her in with copics and spectrum noirs, diecut her out leaving the rose a little proud and then diecut a mat.
I then went to my computer and Serif.  Firstly I had to make a template, I don't do 5x5 I prefer 6x6 but unfortunately that size is not on the programme (the only fault I can find so far I have to admit) so I used the custom bit and made my own template.  I then chose my backing papers and used the same on the back and front.  I photographed my image, cropped it and placed this in a frame, reduced it and used it on the back of the card and also placed my logo on the back too.  I printed all that out onto my white 6x6 card.

I then went onto make my card up in the normal way placing my topper on and diecutting some marianne leaves finishing off with some gems.  (don't all fall down with shock - I do use them sometimes)
Now I went back to my Serif to complete an insert using some contrasting background, placed some flowers on the looseleaf, and a round shape on the otherside for a verse but I also used the transparent buttom for this.  Finishing off with a butterfly in the corner.  Hey presto, a complete 'hybrid' card' and a quite satisfied Kandy.

So, what you do think?  I was quite pleased with the results I have to admit.  Well back to my crafting and thank you so much for dropping by.  You take care and see you soon.
