Professor

Good day fellow crafters and followers. I hope it is a good day for you.  I made this card on Saturday and I was lucky enough to have the whole day for my crafting as hubby was down the garage out of the way and busy - hee hee.  Mind you my broadband was playing up something terrible, kept losing it regulary, very annoying.  Probably 'atmospheric conditions' or 'leaves on the line'!
Well down to my card.  I started with a 6x6 plain white card and matted some grey pearlescent card on to that.  I then took another piece of plain white card and embossed it.  I die cut the flourishes which is from a memory box die.  The image is a stamp from the moorhead range by crafters companion. 

It is called the Professor and I thought he was delightful.   I have stamped him with versafine and then embossed him, coloured him in with copics, die cut him out and distressed the edges with weathered wood distress ink.  I then made a faux nestie and matted him onto that.  I really enjoyed colouring him in, these moorhead stamps are an absolute delight to stamp and colour.

    Kandy this is totally gorgeous. Love the image, and coloured perfectly. Great design and layout. You need to enter him in a few challenges.
