Three colours

Good afternoon folks.  I hope you are all well?
It's Tuesday afternoon, my day off and that means a crafting afternoon.  Although I have been out to do a bit of shopping and to meet two chums for coffee.
My card today is a 6x6 white base card.  I matted some black card and then took some white paper, embossed it using an m-bossibilities folder but prior to embossing it I inked the folder with squeezed lemonade distress inks.  I have also distressed around the edges. 
I then stamped and embossed the verse which is from a set of verse stamps from Creative Expressions.  I diecut the verse, inked around the edges and matted that onto another diecut shape in black.  I had decided to stick with the three colours, black/white and yellow.  The actual flower is made using another stamp from Creative Expressions a petal stamp.  This was stamped and embossed three times and then the swirls were stamped and embossed.  The swirl stamp is from a set from Dimensions.  I cut each petal out, shaped it and arranged each one onto a 1" circle of card with glue gel.  The black brad in the middle finished it off.  I layered that onto a marianne diecut shape.  The leaves are spellbinders diecut in black and white then inked with the squeezed lemonade distress inks.  Hope you like this one.  Thank you for looking at my blog and you take care.
