Icecream

Hi fellow crafters and followers, how are you today?
I have been playing with my serif again for this card.
I coloured the image in first with copics and spectrum noirs, and then went to serif to choose a background which I printed out.  You can't see it but there is also a copy of this image on the back of the card and my logo.  That is what I printed out so my base card is all ready.
I then reverted back to standard card making by diecutting my image, doing some matting and layering, cutting out my flourishes and finishing off with some brads.

There is also an insert in here which was produced in serif in a contrasting colour.
At the moment I am enjoying this hybrid way of crafting besides I can do the insert at the same time and as I never put a verse inside it finishes the card off a treat.  I am currently building up by stock in the hope of taking the plunge and doing a craft fayre after Christmas so putting the inserts in straightaway is going to save me time later.  Plus leaving them blank means the card can be used for anything.
Hope you like it and thank you for stopping by. Take care.
