Good evening ladies how are you all today?
It's a lovely evening here in sunny West Midlands, no wind about though so it is a bit muggy, but as they have forecast rain tomorrow and onwards I am not complaining. Rain forecast for Saturday too which I could have done without as I am looking forward to going to the C&C craft fayre at Donnington Park. Still, once I get there it won't matter what the weather is like inside will it!
Well, tonight's card is one I made for my best friend Donna who was 50 this year. She will kill me for telling you all that but still, what are friends for - hee hee.
I have taken this into serif to display it as the photography wasn't brilliant.
I started with an 8x8 base white card, matted some pink card on and then embossed some white card and matted that. The image is a stamp from Dimension Stamps and it is a Lily which is my friend's favourite flower. I stamped it once and then stamped again to decoupage the flower. I coloured it in with spectrum noir pens and then glazed it with glossy accents. I also embossed the stamped image. I then stamped and embossed the name which is also a Dimension Stamp set of plain alphabet. That was stamped with a brilliance ink pad. The pattern is also a stamp but I cannot remember which one - a swirly one. I then shaped them and placed them on the card with silicone. Once that was dry I then glazed them with glossy accents. She was thrilled with it. Hope you like it too. Thank you for stopping by and you take care.
This is gorgeous, I love the clean clear contrast of white against the pink/purple...well done on a magnificent piece.
