My card for today was another one I made on Saturday. I have to admit to taking alot of time in chosing a layout on this one, don't know why, I think I lost my mojo for a while.
Well this card is a hybrid, by that I mean I have used my serif to print the actual card base. I started with a C5 card, chose my background in the Serif Craft Artist, placed my logo on the reverse and also a pair of cowboy boots. I then printed that off.
I have also cheated a little with matting and layering, it is all plain white card. I took two pieces of white card, embossed them with a bark type embossing folder and then distressed the edges with gathered twigs distress ink and placed them onto my card. I then embossed another piece of white card but firstly I inked the embossed side with mustard seed distress ink and them ran it through my GC. I matted that onto another piece of white card but firstly I used my copics and coloured the edges. I did the same with the blue mat behind the image. My image is another stamp from the moorhead range by crafters companion - the boy.
I coloured this little chap in with copics having first stamped him with versafine black and then embossed him.
I finished the card off with some red card candy and diecut a sizzix flourish in white and brown card to add shadow. Hope you like this card and thank you for stopping by. Take care.
I intend to enter this card into: -
