It's Your Day

Good evening crafters and followers.  Hope you are all well today.  It has been beautiful here in the West Midlands, not too warm, nice breezy, blue skies and sunny.  Hope you are having similar weather wherever you are.

For my post today I have chosen a simple card but hopefully you will think it is effective.  I have chosen a 6x6 base card, layered some gold pearlescent card and then using a piece of black card and a stencil from Imagination Crafts I have stencilled with their gold glitter paste.   I left it overnight before placing it onto my base and topping it off with a spellbinders die cut and a sentiment.

I have only recently started to stencil using various pastes as I thought it would be too messy but I was so wrong.  It doesn't have to be, just make sure you have the right tools, a spreader, stencil masking tape, a knife to put your paste onto the top of the stencil and a bowl of warm soapy water ready to place your tools and stencils in to clean them straight away and that's it.  Very easy but lovely effects.

Thank you for stopping by and for any comments you choose to make.  Do take care.

  1. Beautiful Kandis, and so clever. I can never get these pastes to stay where they should and end up with them seeping everywhere. This is fab! Chris xxx
