Good afternoon crafters and followers. Bank holiday Monday almost over, doesn't it go quick? Hope you have all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend and have had good weather too. I was going to spend all day crafting but started watching a Catherine Cookson film on Yesterday channel which I hadn't seen before, quite a novelty just lately watching something new, mind you it will be repeated about 3 times more during the day but I enjoyed my relaxing morning followed by a relaxing crafty afternoon.
My post today was made using some freebies from Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine issue 111.
I began with a C5 white pearlescent card and matted some plain black card onto it. I then used an Imagination Crafts stencil called Daisy Swirls and stencilled using distress ink - mustard seeds and embossed it with a 6x6 embossing folder which came free with the magazine. The topper is a stamp which also came free with the same magazine - definitely good value. I stamped using a pearlescent yellow ink and then clear embossed it before die cutting it out. I matted that onto some black card which was also a die cut shape.
Yellow ribbon around before die cutting my flower which was a d-lites medallion four and Marianne dies topped off with some card candi.
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments you choose to make. Take care and see you soon.
