Hi fellow crafters and lovely followers. Hope you are all well.
Today's card is another one I made whilst I was playing with my stencils etc. Again I used an 8x8 white base card followed by a piece of blue card. I then embossed a piece of white pearlescent card and inked around the edges to make it pop with stormy sky distress inks.
My image was made using Sweet Poppy pearlescent stencil paste and a stencil from Stamps Away. Once I had stencilled it with the paste I used some royal blue glitter from crafters companion and then let it dry. I used a scalloped square die grande die cut and matted that onto some more blue card which was also die cut. I followed up with my sentiment. Finally I used some cosmic shimmer pink pearlescent glue and put some pearl dots around the edge, now I have always like this effect but never done it before hence some of them are smaller than others and I haven't quite got the corners as good as I would like but for a first attempt I don't think it is too bad. You know what they say 'practice makes perfect' Clearly I need ALOT of practice.
Thank you for stopping by and do take care. See you soon.
Gorgeous card mate, a little different to what you usually do, but fab. xx
