Summer Umbrella

 

Good morning crafters and followers.  April already, don't you think this year is going fast or is that just me and my age - LOL. Hopefully April will be good to us with the weather and you are enjoying your Easter with lots of yummy chocolate eggs.

 

We start a new challenge today at Crafting from the Heart. 

 

The theme is Anything Goes and our sponsor is: -

Digi stamp Umbrella
Chameleon pens
white 7x7 base card
white card
6x6 co'ordination card
ribbon
embellishment
cosmic shimmer pearlescent pva - spring green

1. I printed my image out onto Copic X-Press It Smooth Blending Card from Sir Stampalot and coloured it in using my chameleon pens.  I then fussy cut it out using my BSC.
2. I then cut my background out using my BSC and a free SVG cutting file from Birdscards - background 17 in co'ordinations card.
3. My white frame was also cut using BSC and a square shape form the machine files.
4. Once I had assembled my card I dribbled, freehand, a zigzag pattern around the frame using the cosmic shimmer pva glue. First time I have used it this way so would welcome your comments good or bad.
5. I then completed my card with an organza bow and an embellishment made when I was playing with my melt pot.
