Fancy Free Girl

Good morning fellow crafters and visitors.  Today we start a new challenge at Creative Ladybirds Creations and it is our second challenge.

Our sponsors are: -
Oddball art

Stitchy Bear

 My Shopping List

Digi stamp from Stitchy Bears called Fancy Free.
5x7 base white card
yellow card
patterned paper from a tattered lace magazine
spellbinders die
chameleon pens
cosmic shimmer black pearl drops

I always start by printing out my digi stamp onto Copic Xpressit card and coloured my image in using my chameleon pens.
Once my image is coloured that will govern the colours I use on my card so I matted some yellow card onto my base card followed by die cutting my patterned paper using a spellbinders die.

I then cut my image out using my BSC and 'direct to cut' programme.  I placed a 1mm seam allowance around my image   Once my image is cut out I placed some navy blue onto my mat and changed the seam allowance to 3mm and cut that, followed by a piece of white card onto the mat and again upped the seam allowance to 6mm and cut.  This was how I achieved the matting and layering around my image.

Groovy Girl was also cut out using my BSC and the alphabet already programmed in.  I assembled my card and finished off by placing some black pearl dots all around.
