Thank You

Good evening crafters and followers.  Happy New Year to you all.

Well, virus is almost gone, voice is almost back (much to hubby's disgust), but mojo had gone.  You know when you want to craft and you just don't know what you want to do?  Well I felt like that this afternoon.

I watched Julia Watts on C&C at 2pm, chatted to chums on Skype and couldn't decide what to do.  I am ahead with my DT work and have my birthday cards done up to February.

I decided to go through my recently purchased stamps use those, yes I know, I am terrible for buying stamps and not using them straightaway.  Naughty I know but what can I say, I love stamps.

Shopping list

5x7 plain white card blank.
white card
Cosmic shimmer coral glow aurora embossing powder
Justrite floral thank you set of stamps
Inky Doodles Butterfly Script Clear stamp
small piece of brown card
versamark stamp pad
Dew drop brilliance - coffee bean stamp pad
Spellbinders 5x7 matting basics
Spellbinders oval die

Using the largest 5x7 matting basics I cut a piece of white card and pricked around the edges.  I then cut another piece of white card using a smaller 5x7 matting basics die.

I tore a strip of copy paper and placed it across the middle of my small piece of white card and secured it, I then stamped the butterfly script top and bottom using my versamark and embossed with the coral glow aurora embossing powder.  I also stamped my sentiment with coffee bean ink.  My sentiment is from justrite set of stamps.

I stamped and embossed the flower from the justrite stamps, die cut with the oval spellbinder and cut a faux die to matt onto the back.  I then constructed my card.

A really simple card but I have used embossing powder and stamps not used before and hopefully I have my mojo back ready for tomorrow's crafting - well it is going to be a really awful rainy day so crafting will be ideal!

Hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping by and do take care.  See you soon.
