Hi crafters and followers. You know when you have a plan in mind, start it and then wonder why you did it. Well this image was one in question. I had been watching Leanne at the CHA launching her new pencils and thought they looked good. I was also putting them on my NEC list when I thought, 'I know I will use sketching pencils with my copics'. This is the result, not quite sure about and it hasn't turned out as well as I would like but for a first attempt I suppose it isn't absolutely terrible hence I decided to go ahead and use it. So this is a DT sample for My Craft Creations brand new challenge.
My Shopping List
Copics = C1 | C3 | C5
Sketching Pencils
Spellbings = 5x7 matting basics
A2 Locking Loops
Labels 33
embossing folder - wall
Digi stamp - schooldays from Stitchy Bear Stamps.
Distress inks - weathered wood
white 5x7 blank card
grey pearlescent card
black versafine ink
clear embossing powder.
Using my 5x7matting basics I die cut a piece of grey pearlescent card and a piece of white card. I matted the grey pearlescent card onto my card blank and then put my white die cut card through my embossing folder, I then placed it back in the die and stencilled around the edges with weathered wood distress ink.
I coloured my digi stamp with the copics listed above, die cut it out with labels 33 and also made a faux nestie with some grey pearlescent card.
The sentiment was from my general stamps and was stamped using versafine black in and clear embossed then die cut using A2 locking loops.
Some ribbon and a couple of brads to finish it all off.
Thanks for visiting. Take care and see you soon.
I have entered this card into the following challenge: -
