The English Lady

A new challenge starts at Get Creative today.

Challenge 48 theme is

'Must Include Embossing (wet or dry)'

Our sponsor is

I have used a beautiful digi stamp from our sponsor called 'The English Lady'.

I have coloured her in using my copic marker pens.

I have then matted some blue card onto a plain 8x8 base card followed by some patterned paper out of my crafty stash.  This I have embossed with a tattered lace embossing folder and then skimmed over it with some cosmic shimmer gilding polish - pearl lustre.

More matting and layering before stamped some flowers out and embossing them in a cosmic shimmer embossing powder.  The stamp I used for my flowers were from Chloes Creative Cards and they are her 'pretty flowers', stamped onto parchment.

The sentiment is from Phil Martin's scribbled sentiments and all finished off with nuvo pearl drops.

If you wish to see more ideas from our design team using stamps from our sponsor please follow the link HERE to our blog where you can also enter your own project, don't forget to follow the theme.

Thanks for visiting.  See you again soon.
Take care.

The digi image I have chosen to use from our sponsor is called 'Smile its your birthday'

I have coloured her in using copic marker pens.  Die cut her using a spellbinders die which I have also used to make the frame.  I have also die cut circles using a die from justrite which also allowed me to make the frames.

After embossing I stamped and embossing some flowers using a stamp from Chloe Creative Cards and Tim Holtz Pickled Raspberry distress inks.  All topped off with some nuvo pearl drops.

Pretty Flowers

Good morning everyone.  Soon be the weekend.

We have a new challenge starting today at Crafty Girlz.

We have our usual theme of
'Always Anything Goes'.

My card today was actually made when I attended a craftathon run and organised by the lovely Phil Martin.  Chloe Endean was also there too and we made two cards from Chloe and two cards from Phil.  A very full on day but soooooooooo enjoyable.

This card is one of Chloe's as you will have guessed with all the glitter - tee hee.

We have used her 'pretty flowers' range and wow powders.

My friend Wendy and I thoroughly enjoyed our day and will be attending the next one in October for some major christmas crafting.

To enter our challenge at Crafty Girlz follow the link HERE to our blog where you will see brilliant designs from our design team too.  Don't forget to enter your own project into the challenge too.

Thanks for visiting folks. See you again soon.
Take care.

Bucket of Daisies

Good morning all.

A new challenge begins at Crafty Girls Creations today.

Theme is 'Always Anything Goes'

Our sponsor is

I have chosen to use a digi stamp from our sponsor called 'Bloomin Bucket'.

A beautiful stamp to colour in.  I have used my copic markes as follows -

C3 | C5 | C7
Y38 | Y00 | Y04
G94

I picked the layout from a craft magazine.  I have stamped my own background using some daisy stamps and leaf stamps with colour cloud lemon meringue and chic moss.  The flag tags were left over bits from a background I had made using pixie powders.  My flowers are stamps from Dawn Bibby which I forgot I had.

Christmas Elf

Good morning.  I hope you all had a good weekend.

I had a very productive Saturday afternoon crafting.  Feeling well chuffed with what I produced including my sample for our new challenge at Crafting from the Heart.

Our theme is as always

'Anything Goes'

Our sponsor is

I have chosen to use a digi image from our sponsor called 'Christmas Elf Ornament;

One thing I love about Christmas (actually there are loads of things) but one of them is the excuse to use sparkle and glitter.  Christmas cards to me always means getting my sakura out for some sparkle.

I have coloured my little Christmas Elf in sakura pens and copic markers.  I then die cut her out using a spellbinders layering die.  I also cut a faux mat in red for matting.

I then started with a kraft 7x7 card blank followed by some red card and then some white card both of which have been die cut using my double pierced square dies.  I have also embossed my white card using Twinkle Twinkle embossing folder from Creative Expressions.

My other topper is another piece red card and white card.  The white card has been embossed using a freebie embossing folder from a craft magazine from which I also got my layout design from.

The sentiment is one of Phil Martins which has been die cut using double pierced tag dies from creative expressions.

I have finished my card off with my usual flower!  I love my flowers and this little one is die cut using a marianne poinsettia die and the holly branch is also a marianne die - one of the first lot of dies I ever bought.  Just goes to show, if you look after them they will last you a lifetime.

We also have a facebook page where you can show case your projects and enter another, just for fun, challenge.

Thank you for visiting today.  Hope to see you again soon.

Good luck in the challenge.

Autumn Vines

Good morning.  Hope you are all well this morning?

As you know I love Fridays, my weekend starts although this morning I have to take my car for its' service but once I have that expense over and done with! I shall be hopefully doing some crafting this afternoon.

We do start a new challenge at

Challenge 117 Theme is 'FALL COLOURS'

I have been playing with my new background stamp from Justrite called 'Autumn Vines'.

It is a beautiful stamp and I have used a layout from one of Julia Watts shows on Hochanda.

I stamped my image onto black card with gliding flake glue and used some gilding flakes from Indigo Blu.  I have kept it simple with an pumpkin colour frame cut using my double pierced rectangle dies.

I created another background using plain white card and spritzing with Phil Martin Cosmic Shimmer Ink - Chic Pumpkin.  I have also used Chic Pumpkin embossing powder to stamp my flower.  The flower stamp is a Dreamees stamp.  I then die cut some leaves using another die from Sue Wilson and a sentiment using the Frames and Tags Collection Pierced Flag dies.

Thank for your visiting today and I hope to see you again soon.

Take care.

Smell the Flowers

Good morning folks.  Well 1st September today and here in the midlands we still have summer type weather.  Mind you I have always found that the weather in September is often nicer than earlier in the year.

A new challenge begins today at Creative Ladybirds.

Our theme is the usual 'Always AnythingGoes'.

Our sponsor is

After printing out my image I coloured her in using spectrum noir pencils, not something I use very often other than highlighting but they were nice to work with.
I did some matting and layering using an embosslicious embossing folder followed by cutting a frame from my double pierced circle dies.

My flowers are stamps from Chloes Creative Cards and Princess Pink WOW embossing powder. I finished my card off with some nuvo pearl drops and some pink gems.  I know I do love my flowers don't I?

Thanks for visiting today.  See you soon, I hope.
