Good morning and another challenge begins today at Crafting from the Heart.  I do hope that those of you who joined in the Blog Hop last week enjoyed it and thank you for popping along and leaving your comments I do appreciate them.

I have chosen to use an image from Dr Digi this week called Dunderton Decorators Ltd.

I have used my chameleon pens to colour him in but given he is a decorator I haven't been too careful or precise.  Quite a good image for those beginning their colouring journey I feel.

I have also added some cosmic shimmer pearlescent pva glue to act as paint.

Here is my DT make 

I have used a lovely digi image from Sassy Studios who is one of our sponsors for this hop.

The image I chose to use is called My Fair Lady and she was a delight to colour in.  I used my chameleon pens and couldn't resist adding some glitter on the feathers. I have also used a selection of dies from tonic studios and tattered lace plus an embossing folder from tattered lace.

For the Boys

Good morning.  Half way through June,where has the month gone?

We start a brand new challenge at Get Creative today with a theme of 'For the Boys/Fathers Day'

Quite a simple layout for this card but I did have a play in serif craft artist.

I took my image into serif and the cut out studio, removed the white from boys gown to make it a png image then I placed some black material behind it.  I then printed it out onto copic X-press smooth card and coloured the rest of him using chameleon pens.

I then cut a piece of black card followed by a mat of white card.  I embossed the white card and layered those two onto my card blank.

Using Brother Brian my snc, I cut three pieces of card, 2 black and 1 white from one of the oval shapes in the machine. I sized these to go down in 1cm increments.  I then printed out my congratulations using an alphabet from serif, scanned that into Brian and cut that out. I have embossed the smaller of the black oval shapes using a wood effect embossing folder.

I assembled my card and finished off by putting some pearl drops on using tonic nuvo pearl drops in black - a definite winner with me.

Lazy Pillow Cat

Good morning fellow crafters and followers.  Hope you are all well this bright and fine day?

Today we start a new monthly challenge at Crafty Girlz.  

Challenge Three has a theme of Anything Goes / Colours of flags of your Country if you would like to follow a theme.

I have chosen this month to follow the theme and as I live in England within the United Kingdom I have chosen the colours of red/white and blue.

The digi stamp I have used is from our sponsor SLS Lines and is called 'Lazy Pillow Cat'.

I always print my digi images onto copic x-press it smooth card and overnight.  I scanned my image into my brother snc, placed a 1mm seam allowance and fussy cut it out.  I coloured my cat with chameleon pens.

I have used a 7x7 kraft card base followed by a plain piece of white card which I have pricked around.  I the printed some patterned card using a serif digi kit called Furry Friends.  I have used a tonic verso die to cut the fancy frame and finished off with some Nuvo crystal drops in pearl white and navy blue.

Good morning.  Today is a busy day for new challenges I have to admit.

A new fortnightly challenge starts today at Crafting from the Heart with a theme of 'Anything Goes'.

The digi image I have used from Kayleigh Sue is called 'Hot Sunny Day'.  A lovely image to colour in.

I have used chameleon pens and then fussy cut her out using my brother snc.  I have also used some glossy accents on her glasses.

The background of the card was produced in serif craft artist from a digi kit which I then printed out onto A3 card.

Cup of Joy for Friends

Good morning.  Monday 1st June, gosh isn't this year going fast?  Apparently here in UK we are forecast for a heat wave during June.  Well that's what google says but please folks, nobody go holding your breath will you - LOL.

This digi kit was a super choice as it comes with the image and loads of sentiments.  I used my craft artist programme and placed my sentiment which was then printed out.  I then embossed just the top half of the card and covered the join up with the ribbon.

Quite a simple layout really but I hope you like it.

Today's card was a very simple card to make I have to say.  It just consists of matting and layering.  The digi images however are superb and such good value and includes 5 different digi stamps. All in different dancing poses.  Wonderful for anyone taking dance classes or into their dancing.
