Our theme is the usual 'Always Anything Goes'

Our sponsor for this challenge is: -

The digi stamp I have used from our sponsor is called 'Young Marguerite'.

Once I have coloured her in using my copic sketch markers I die cut her using a spellbinders die.

I used a background from my stash made from a mask and Phill Martins Frosty Blossom sparkle texture paste.

The dies I have used for the frames and leaves are all from Sue Wilson.  I stamped my flowers onto vellum using a WOW powder and Chloes Creatives Crafts stamps,

Mystical Flowers

Good afternoon all.  Hope your Saturday is going well?

I have had a lovely afternoon crafting playing with some new stamps I received from Honey Doo Crafts.

I cut a frame out using my BSC in white card and stamped the medium and small flowers from Mystical Flowers Stamp Set.  The ink pads I used were two Tim Holtz distress inks.  I then coloured the card using a Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud ink.

My card is an 8x8 and I embossed another piece of white card 7.75" x 7.75".

I have put a of plain white card across the middle of the frame and then stamped my flowers out on vellum using WOW embossing powder.  My leaves are from Chloe's Creative Crafts and stamped again using WOW powder onto heat resistant acetate.

I finished off the flowers with Tonic Nuvo Drops.

Thanks for visiting today.  See you soon.

Flowers from the Heart

Hi folks, what a lovely week off I have had.  Been out with our fur baby Enya for some lovely walks. Yesterday I had a lovely play in my craft room using some new stamps I had received from Honey Doo Crafts.

The flowers I have used are called 'Flowers from the Heart' which I have stamped onto vellum using Graceful Peach embossing powder from Phill Martin.  I then cut them out by hand which I do find therapeutic however I have now ordered the matching dies fro Honey Doo - much easier.

My background was one I made some months ago using a new stencil I bought when I was at Ally Pally in April.  The paste I used, I think, is a clear one which I mixed with the Graceful Peach mica powder.

The dies to make the frame is the noble rectangle ones from Sue Wilson.  The embossed card was Finials embossing folder again from Sue Wilson and it was actually a left over when I have die cut an image using one of the noble oval dies.

Finally I added a sentiment which is a stamp from Tonic.

Well I am off to do some more knitting now - that is my evening occupation.

Thanks for visiting.  Hope to see you soon.

British Street Party

Good morning all.  Well I am a happy bunny today as I have taken a week off work for my holiday.  We are not going away I am practising for when I retire - LOL.

We also start a new challenge at Crafty Girlz this morning.

This month the theme is
anything goes / with the optional twist of national flag colours.

Yes you may have guessed I have used red, white and blue as those are the colours for the national flag of Britain.

I have created this in Serif Craft Artist using a free digi kit called 'British Street Party'.

Emmi Loo - A Poppy For You

Good morning all.  Hope you had a good weekend? I have to admit I found the weather much more to my liking, dry and cooler.  I really can't take the heat anymore which surprises me because I was a right little sun baby but as I have got older I much prefer the cooler weather.  Yes I know some of you will be shouting at me and I am sorry but those power surges...........

We have a lovely new challenge beginning over at Crafting from the Heart this morning.

Our theme is the usual 'Always Anything Goes'

Our sponsor for this challenge is

Copics
Poppy = R46 | R59
Dress = R81 | R83 | R85

Daisy May with a Flower

Good morning all.  Hope you had a good weekend?  I have to admit mine wasn't so good this weekend as my darling husband managed to pass his cold onto me.  Luckily it stayed as a head cold but it was still pretty miserable.  Still getting better now and I did manage some crafting - took my mind off my runny nose etc.

We have a lovely new challenge beginning today at Get Creative.

Challenge 60 has a theme of 'Clean and Simple.

For this challenge we have three sponsors: -

I have chosen to use a digi stamp from Angie's Digital Stamps called 'Daisy May with a Flower'

I chose this image because I thought it could be used for loads of occasions.  Although I have done a birthday it could also be used for , thank you/sympathy/thinking of you cards too.  Very versatile.

I have coloured Daisy May in using my copic sketch markers and then fussy cut her out.

I recently received my carnival collection from the lovely Phill Martin in tangerine so was keen to use that.  I have used all white card and used the tangerine colour cloud to colour the mat and to stencil the sentiment.  The stencil was also a Phill Martin one.

A Sparkling Dress

Good morning again.

I need to tell you about the new challenge at Crafty Girls Creations beginning today.

This months challenge is
Just for fun no prize given.

My card today is one I so enjoyed making, not that I don't enjoy my card making but you know some cards you are pleased with and some you sit back and think 'Yes I love that one'?

The dress is a stamp from Creative Expressions using white embossing powder.

Flowers are also stamped using white embossing powder and are from Chloe Creative Cards, I do so love Chloe's flower stamps.

The embossing folder is an 8x8 one but I can't remember which company it is from sorry.
