Barry Big Wheels

Good morning all.  Hope you all had a good weekend?

I had lovely weekend.  Mom took my hubby and I out for lunch on Friday which was very nice.  We went to the Granary Restaurant in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.  Lovely carvery.

On Saturday we had to take Enya to the vets, poor baby has developed cystitis again.  Luckily I recognized the symptoms really early and we got her to the vets within 2 hours.  Two injections and a bag of antibiotics later she was definitely on the mend - by that I mean not out in the garden squatting constantly for about 20 mins, let her in and she is back out again.  Not producing anything but getting very distressed.  She has settled down now so far as that is concerned.  Hopefully it will clear up quickly.  Trouble is I felt so helpless to see her in so much distress.

Well, we have a brand new challenge starting today at Crafting from the Heart.

Our sponsor is: -

For my post today I have used a digi stamp called Barry Big Wheels.   As soon as my hubby and I saw it I knew exactly who I wanted it for, but mums the word as his birthday is later in the month.

I have coloured my image in with a mixture of copics and graphit marker pens.  I have also fussy cut it using my scan n cut on the direct to scan facility and also a black mat.

I then stencilled through a 'rope' mask using a tim holtz distress ink - hickory smoke.  Then, using a small square die from tonic studios I gutted the middle out to make a frame.  The middle I embossed using a 'bark' embossing folder and then highlighted the embossing with graphite gilding polish.

Some matting and layering onto an 8x8 square card which I then stamped my sentiment using some corners stamps from Phil Martin's scribbled collection.

I am sorry about the quality of the photograph, I just don't seem to be able to get a good one.

To see more samples from our design team using other digi stamps from our sponsor follow the link HERE and of course don't forget to enter your own project into the challenge.

We also have a facebook page too.

Thank you so much for visiting today, you are ALWAYS welcome and for any comments you choose to leave.

Take care and I hope to see you again soon.
