Bonjour Paris

Good morning all.

A new challenge at Crafting from the Heart begins today.

Our sponsor for this challenge is

I have used a couple of images from a set called 'Paris'.

I have used Serif Craftartist to design my card.  I did import the embossing image, the ribbon and the flower but the colours have all been taken from the little girl.

I have designed it on an 8x8 page so it could be used on an 8x8 card or made smaller onto a 6x6 or 7x7 card.

To see more designs from our design team why not follow the link HERE to our blog and at the same time why not enter your own challenge.

We also have a Facebook page for you to follow and enter further challenge's and showcase your own projects.

Thank you for visting and I hope to see you again soon.

Holly Fairy

Good morning all.  Well what a weekend, talk about English weather, sunny and hot last week and here in West Midlands we had some serious rain and very windy, quite autumnal but not cold.

I thought we would be a little seasonal this morning.  We actually start a new challenge at Get Creative Challenge and our theme for challenge 46 is 'A Sketch'

Our sponsor for this challenge is

The image I chose to use is called 'Holly Fairy'.

After printing her out onto copic x-press it smooth card I coloured her in using spectrum noir colouring pencils then die cut her out with a spellbinders die.  I also cut a faux mat out in green.

I then embossed a pieceof 8x8 white card using an embossing folder from tattered lace and on the debossed side I spread some snow white glitter sparkle paste from creative expressions.  Unfortunately my photographic skills are not good and I don't think you can see it but it does sparkle in real life.

For the wreath surrounding my image I die cut some holly in green and white card but on the white card I stencilled some ink using two colours of green distress inks.  All finished off with some red nuvo tonic pearl drops.

If you would like to see more images from our sponsor which our design team have used follow the link HERE.  At the same time you could enter your own project into the challenge but don't forget to follow the theme and link back to the challenge blog.

Thank you so much for visiting and I hope to see you again soon.

Take care.

Cassandra

Good morning everyone.  Hope you are all okay today.

Thursday, my favourite day because my weekend starts.  Hopefully we will get the nice weather forecast and if so I think we will be off to Croombe Park in Evesham for a picnic and a walk.  Haven't told Enya yet, she does love her walks.

Well today we start a lovely new challenge at Crafty Girls Creations.

The theme is 'Always Anything Goes'.

Our sponsor is

The image I have used is called 'Cassandra' from our sponsor.

After printing my image out I coloured her in using my copic markers as follows: -

E00 | E0000 | E01 | R40 | 100 | C9 | C5 | C7 | B26 | B29 | B32

For the background I sprintz a plain piece of card with some cosmic shimmer spritzers.

I have used Sue Wilson Double Pierced Rectangle dies for the frame and her leaves.

My flowers were made from an old tonic flower die.  All finished off with some tonic nuvo pearl drops.

Lily

Good morning.  My 2nd post of the day, yes I know I am like a bus nothing for a while then 2 come along together!!!!

Given my craft room is now fully up and running I hope to be posting more now.

A new challenge is beginning at Crafting from the Heart.

Challenge 122 is the usual 'Anything Goes' theme.

Our sponsor is:-

The digi stamp I have used is called 'Lily'

I have printed this out onto watercolour card and used distress markers to colour it.

As regulars will know I do struggle with layouts and my inspiration is usually Sue Wilson or John Lockwood.  Well my inspiration for today's layout was John Lockwood but with my twist.

To create the frame I used the 5x7 matting basics from spellbinders.  A couture embossing folder called Extra Loren and my sentiment is from Senitmentally Yours the Blossom Occasions Sentiment Tags from the lovely Phil Martin stamps and die cut using tags dies from the sapphire.

I always think sympathy cards are difficult and this one just cried out as that particular theme.

Why not visit the challenge blog by following the link HERE where you can enter your own super creation and see some more samples from our design team.

We also have a facebook page which you can join and share your makes.

Thanks for visiting and take care.

Happy Birthday Stephanie

Hi folks.  Hope you are all okay.

My post today is not only for a new challenge starting at Crafty Girls Creations but also was specifically made for our neice's partner Stephanie.

Stephanie met and married our niece Sara over 12 months ago now and it was her birthday Monday just gone.  July's child definitely describes her, she is loving towards Sara and they are definitely very happy. She is fun with a lovely smile and very friendly. A wonderful and welcome addition to our family.

I am also happy because by this weekend my rewiring will be finished and my craftroom will be back up and running - oh I have soooooooo missed my crafting.

Our challenge today is usual 'Anything Goes'.

July's child stamp is one from Creative Expressions John Lockwood stamps.  Such a useful set of stamps.  The flowers are also stamps from Honey Doo Crafts.

To see more samples from our design team and to enter the challenge with your own creation do follow the link HERE.

Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you again real soon.
