Champagne Garden

Good morning folks.

Hope you are all well today?

Last day of June and I am still wondering when our summer will begin.

Looking forward to Saturday when I will be going to the NEC for a new craft show with my mate Wendy.  Some major retail craft therapy.  Apparently this is a new show and if I am honest Wendy and I were not going to attend but I was lucky enough to receive some complimentary tickets so it would be rude not to use them - hee hee.

I will let you know how it went - the show I mean, the day with me mate will go brilliantly, always does.

We start a new challenge at Crafty Girls Creations today.

Our theme is
Always Anything Goes.

My craft room is still packed away so I have been playing again in Serif Craft Artist.

The digi kit I have used is from Louise Tiller and it is called 'Champagne Garden'.

If you want to see more samples from our design team please follow the link HERE to the challenge and so you can enter your own projects.

Thank you for visiting today and I do hope to see you again soon.

Take Care.

Natalie is 40

Good morning fellow crafters.

We start a new challenge at Crafty Girlz Challenge today.

Our theme is the usual 'Always Anything Goes'.

It was a free week for the design team this week.

My craft room is almost packed up ready for the electrician to start his rewiring so my post today was actually made for a fellow slimming worlder - Keefy.  It was a friend of his named Natalie and yes it was forher 40th birthday.

I chose to use the lovely shoe stamp from Chloe Creative Cards which I stamped and embossed in a red embossing powder several times on to cream card then the red polka dots paper and also the plain red co'ordinating paper.

The papers were from a digi kit within serif craft artist and I don't know which one because I just entered red and picked two.

I have also glittered the heel of the shoes.
The sentiment was designed in serif, coloured in serif and printed out.

For the flower buckle I have used parchment and a flower die from Dreamees which I embossed using a wow embossing powder finished off with a couple of pearls.

Thank you for visiting today and I do hope to see you again soon.

Aster

Good morning everyone.  May has come and gone so quickly and I now have to pack up my craftroom for a couple of months as we are being rewired.  I am soooooo not looking forward to this but it cannot be put off any longer.

Mind you it will give me a chance to tidy up my craftroom - I am such a messy crafter - plus I am getting a little more organised AND I will re-organise my craftroom when I begin to unpack so there are some pros to this.

I haven't seen you for a while but I have to say my friend Wendy and I went to a craftathon organised by Phil Martin and Chloe Endean on Sunday 22nd May.  What a super day we had.  It is the first time we had been and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  Met some lovely ladies, spent loads and we each managed to make 4 cards and get completely covered in glitter.  Well Chloe was in the house!

Phil, Chloe and their teams worked so hard to make sure we all had a fantastic day.

Definitely will be looking out for next year.

Crafting From The Heart starts a new challenge today.

I kept my card simple with just some matting and layering and embossing.

Victorian Tea

Good morning folks.

Good job I have scheduled this post as I shall be travelling back from a weekend away with my Mom.  We have been on our yearly 'mommy/daughter' weekend and this year we have been to Alvaston Hall in Cheshire for a weekend of pure relaxation.  Pamper treatments, good food, good wine and good company what more could a girl want.  No guilt at leaving hubby at home with Enya our briard to fend for himself, I am sure he has had a lovely peaceful time of doing nothing.

Well, we start a new challenge at Crafting from the Heart this morning.

Theme is the usual 'Always Anything Goes'

Our sponsor for this challenge is

I have used an image called 'Victorian Tea'.

There are a sheet of tags and images and I used the teapot and cup with one tag.

They were quite easy to cut out and I still have loads of tags left for other projects.

I have used a 5x7 card with some matting and layering.  The die is a spellbinders die and the patterned paper was a freebie from the latest tattered lace magazine. Added a little bit of embossing and hey presto a useful, easy little card.

If you follow the link HERE to our challenge blog you can enter your own project and also see more samples from our design team.

We also have a facbook page for your to join where you can enter another challenge and also showcase your own makes.

Thank you for visiting today and I hope to see you again very soon.

Take care.
