Tulip Dancer

Good morning everyone. A new challenge starts this morning at Crafty Girls Creations.

Challenge 15 is our usual 'Anything Goes'

Our sponsor for this challenge is

My shopping list for my card today is: -

Tulip Dancer Digi Stamp from our sponsor
A3 White card
A4 Pink card
Pink patterned paper
Wow embossing powder - sparkling spruce
Acetate for heat embossing
white detailed embossing powder
Couture embossing folder - Intrinsic
Copic marker pen
Vellum

I made my plain white base card, matted and layered some pink card and more white card plus a piece of pink patterned paper. My mats were made using the noble pierced dies.
I embossed smallest using intrinsic embossing folder from couture.

My image was sized and printed out using serif craft artist.  I also took my image into the cutout studio and cut the white from the dress so I could place some pink patterned lace paper behind it and then printed and cut it out.  I coloured the rest in using copic markers.

My flowers were made using vellum, Stamping with versamark and embossing with detailed white embossing powder.  I then coloured them in on the rear using a copic marker pen finishing them off with a tiny pearl in the centre.

I stamped the leaves onto acetate suitable for heat embossing using versamark and wow embossing powder.

On the 18th February my very special friend 'Wendy' had a birthday her 49th to be precise - hee hee she will smack me for that one.

My post today is the birthday card I made for her using stamps from Chloes Creative Cards.

The embossing powder I have used to stamp the flowers out is Phil Martin's cosmic shimmer Chic Pumpkin and green WOW powders also from Chloes Creative Cards.

The embossing folder was from Crafters Companion and the pearl drops are Tonic Nuvo.

I embossed my flowers onto vellum and the swirls onto heat resistant acetate.

I hope you like it as much as my dear friend Wendy did.

My First Kensington Bag

Good morning.  A new challenge begins at Simply Create Too this morning.

Our theme for Challenge 103 is 'Use Pink or Red Only'.

I have used a die from Tonic Studios called, The Kensington Bag'.  A beautiful die. Everything was cut from the die set. As you can see I used two colours, the card was 260gsm and I did use my glue gun as the adhesive to secure the actual bag together.  The pink scroll work was secured with cosmic shimmer dries clear glue.

Perfect size to hold a piece of jewellery which is a present for a friend.

Orchid Corner

Good morning fellow crafters and followers.

Hope you are well this Monday morning and if you celebrated Valentines Day yesterday you had a good one and received some nice Valentines gifts.

We start a new challenge at Crafty Girlz Challenge this morning.

Our theme is 'Anything Goes'

Our sponsor is: -

I have used a digi stamp from our sponsor today called 'Orchid Corner'.  Such a lovely image and so useful for many different occasions.

After printing out my image twice I scanned it into my BSC and fussy cut it out.

I then coloured them in using spectrum noir pencils.

I matted some red card onto an 8x8 plain white base card and then cut a frame out using Creative Expressions Noble Collection Double Pierced Square dies.

I stamped my quote in black versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder.  My sentimThe quote is a stamp from Dimension Stamps which I have had for some time.

I then finished my design off with Tonic Nuvo Pearl drops in red.

Puppy Paws

Good morning.

We are half way through February - frightening isn't it.

This is our half way post for the monthly challenge at Creative Ladybirds Creations.

The theme is the usual 'Anything Goes'

Our sponsor is

I have used a digi stamp called 'Puppy Paws'.

After printing out I coloured this sweet little chap using copic marker: -

E70 | E74 | E79 | R83

This one was a challenge for me as I am not brilliant at colouring animals, still not sure about it but I thoroughly enjoyed colouring the image in, he is such a cutie pie.

I fussy cut him out using my BSC in the 'direct to cut' facility with a 1mm border.

My backing paper was from BS2 serif digi kit as is the dog bowl and bone. I have used some bakers twine for the embellishment and also tonic nuvo copper penny pearl drops.

Why not pop follow the link HERE to our challenge to see other designs from the design team and to enter your own project, there's still time.

Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you again soon.

Take care.

Daffodils Circle Scroll

Good morning folks.

We start a new challenge at Crafty Girls Creations today.

Challenge 14 has a theme of 'Anything Goes'.

Our sponsor for this challenge is

I have used the digi image called Daffodils Circle Scroll from our sponsor.

I began with an 8x8 plain white card base. I die cut a frame using Creative Expressions Noble Double Pierced Square dies set A and B.  I then cut a background in lemon using my BSC and a free SVG cutting file from Birds Cards

I took my digi image into Serif craft artist, resized it and placed the Happy Birthday within the frame.   I printed it out and fussy cut it on the 'direct to scan' facility on my BSC with a 1mm border.  I then cut a mat out with a 3mm border.  I have coloured the flowers in with chameleon pens.

Using a glue pen and yellow glitter I have outlined the H & B.  All finished off with some yellow nuvo pearl drops.

Looking for You

Good morning folks.

We start a new challenge at Crafting from the Heart this morning.

As usual our theme is 'Anything Goes'

Our sponsor for this challenge is: -

I have used a digi image called 'Looking for You' from our sponsor.  Originally I was going to colour it in but then looking at it, it is so beautifully drawn I decided to leave it as it was.  I think this way it would be good as a sympathy card - what do you think?

I have used a 7x7 white base card matted some black card followed by some pearlescent card which I have die cut.

I printed my image out and then die cut it with an oval die.

My flowers I stamped using a flower die from Chloes Creative Cards and WOW Black Glint embossing powder finished off with some white card candi and finally some Nuvo Crystal drops - Ebony Black.

To see more samples form our design team follow the link HERE to our challenge blog and don't forget to enter your own creation.

We also have a Facebook page where you can share you makes, ask questions and enter the challenge.

Thank you for visiting and hope to see you again soon.
Take care.

Lucy Valentine's Girls

Good morning folks.  Hope you are all well and had a good weekend.

We start a new challenge at Get Creative this morning.

Challenge 32 has a theme of 'Must Include Hearts'

Our sponsor for this challenge is

For my project this month I chose the digi stamp called Lucy Valentine's Girls.

I printed her out using Copic X-Press it Smooth Blending Card. I coloured her in using following copic markers: -

skin = E000 | E00 | E01
heart = R35 | R37 | R49
dress/shoes = BG10 | BG13 | BG15 | BG49
hair = YR20 | YR21 | Y21 | E31

I fussy cut her out with my BSC on the 'direct to cut' facility and placed a 1mm border.

My base card is 7x7 followed by a 6.75" square mat which I have pierced around the edges.

I then cut another piece of card 6.5" square on my BSC and also cut a heart in the middle.  After cutting I placed a piece of red card on my mat, removed the square, increased the size of the heart and cut that out in red which I have placed at the back after embossing using a spellbinders A4 embossing folder.

My flowers have been created from stamps by ChloeCreativeCards and cosmic shimmer ruby blush embossing powder.  I also cut those out using my BSC with a 1mm border again with the 'direct to cut' facility.

The leaves are dies from Sue Wilson and spellbinders and inked up using tim holtz candied peel distress ink.  I then finished my card off with some tonic nuvo pearl drops.
