Together Forever

Good morning all.  Hope you had a good weekend?

Mine was quiet and I finally entered my craft room after a month!  Yes, I know, ages isn't?  I have just been so busy - I had a lovely weekend at Alvaston Hall with my Mom, then a brilliant day at Create it, Telford with my mate Wendy and before that if it wasn't one thing it was another.

So we start a new challenge at Crafting from the Heart today.

Our theme is the usual 'Always Anything Goes'.

We have no sponsor this month so it will be 'Just for Fun'.

This was a card I made for a work colleague for her daughters wedding day.

I have used a heart stamp from Chloe Creative Cards.  The leaves are die cuts from Tattered Lace/Marianne dies and the roses I made myself using a die from Tattered Lace and spraying them with Crafters Companion silver spray.

To see more samples from our design team follow the link HERE to our blog and where you can also entered your own project.

Don't forget our facebook page too.

Thank you so much for visiting today.

Take care

Good morning.  Who will be going to Create It @ Telford this weekend?

I will be there with my crafty chum Wendy and I am so looking forward to it.  What more can a girl ask for, crafty day with her mate and some retail therapy - absolute heaven.

Well a new challenge starts today at Crafty Girlz.

Our theme for this challenge is

Something Masculine

My card today has been designed in Serif Craft Artist using a digi kit called 'Bloke at the Movies'

Happy Birthday to You

Good morning.  We have a new challenge starting at Crafting From The Heart today.

Our theme is the usual 'Always Anything Goes'.

No sponsor for this challenge it is just a time to showcase your work.

You know when you have that 'blank' moment, when your mojo is well and truly asleep?

Well that was how I felt which resulted in my card today.

When my mojo has gone 'walkabouts' I go to the creative expressions team and this one is based on a layout from Phill Martin.  It was a card he posted on his blog.

All made using white card I embossed a piece of card using an embossing folder from Sue Wilson but I forgot to write on it which one it was.  I then distressed around the edges using perfect medium and gold detail embossing powder.

I cut another piece of white card and using Phill's Inkspirational border stamps and his new gold  embossing powder.  I then used his Inkspirational Birthday Sentiment stamp set and embossed again with new gold embossing powder. Die cut that out using a Sue Wilson double pierced oval dies and using some clear cosmic shimmer glue I ran it around the edges of the die cut and then glittered it using some gold glitter from Chloe Creative Cards.

The flowers were die cut using a flower die from Tattered Lace and the leaves were from a die by Sue Wilson.  I finished my flowers off by dropping a blob of cosmic shimmer glue in the centre and covered it with the gold glitter.

Thanks Phil for the inspiration, I got my mojo back, thoroughly enjoyed using and mixing all my crafting goodies.

Hope to see you again soon.

Elaine

Good morning again.  My 2nd post of the day is for our new challenge beginning at Crafty Girls Creations.

Our sponsor for this challenge is: -

I have used a lovely digi image called 'Elaine'.  However if you are not into colouring you can get the image pre coloured.

After printing out Elaine I have coloured her in using Graphtec marker pens and spectrum noir pencils.

I have used Sue Wilson's double pierced ovals for the frame and Finest Finials embossing folder also from Sue Wilson.  I then skimmed over the embossing with cosmic shimmer gilding polish - blossom.

I finished off with some flowers which I have stamped using cosmic shimmer Sunrise Pink Lustre embossing powder.  The flowers were from Chloes Creative Cards.

Emma's Hat

Good morning all, hope you enjoyed your bank holiday at the weekend although I see the weather was true to form on Monday.  At least it was in the West Midlands, raining all afternoon but it was that nice straight rain so I had my window open in my craft room and thoroughly enjoyed my crafting afternoon listening to classic fm.

We have a new challenge starting today at Creative-Ladybirds.

Our sponsor for this challenge is: -

I have used a lovely digi image from our sponsor called 'Emma's Hat'.

After printing out my image I coloured her in using a mixture of Copic sketch and Graphtec marker pens.

The dies I have used are Sue Wilson double pierced rectangles and ovals.

The stamps for the flowers and swirls are a lovely set from Honey Doo Crafts, embossed using cosmic shimmer detail white onto vellum for the flowers and WOW Sparkling Spruce onto heat resistant acetate for the swirls.

The embossing folder is an 8x8 from Tattered Lace and I have finished off using Nuvo pearl drops - bottle green.
